Hiroshima University’s Higashi Hiroshima campus has a total of ten cafeterias and cafés. Out of the ten, halal food is prepared at two cafeterias (East cafeteria and University Hall cafeteria).

Halal food is prepared as follows.

• We are using halal certified chicken.
• The knives, bowls, cooking trays, pots and pans, and tongs used when cooking halal food are separated from the others.
• The convection oven and fryer used when cooking halal food are separated from the others.
